We are supporting a leading investment banking platform in the search for an Associate to join its Energy Infrastructure team.

The team advises a broad range of clients across the energy transition and infrastructure landscape, including renewable developers, infrastructure funds, utilities, IPPs and strategic investors across Europe.

The role offers exposure across high-profile M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates within one of the most active areas of the infrastructure market.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role across live transactions and business development activities, supporting senior bankers on the execution of complex energy and infrastructure mandates.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Financial modelling and valuation analysis
  • M&A execution
  • Debt and equity capital raising support
  • Preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
  • Transaction process management
  • Market research and strategic analysis
  • Supporting negotiations and client interactions

The individual will gain exposure across a broad range of energy infrastructure and energy transition subsectors, including:

  • Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Power and utilities
  • Energy transition infrastructure
  • Grid and flexible energy assets

Candidate Profile

The team is looking to speak with candidates who possess:

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience within investment banking, infrastructure advisory or energy M&A
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Transaction execution experience across M&A and/or capital raising mandates
  • Exposure to energy, infrastructure, renewables or power markets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate within fast-paced transaction environments

Experience advising infrastructure funds, developers, utilities or sponsors would be highly advantageous.
