Are you a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer looking for a unique opportunity within a secure and dynamic environment? We’re hiring 2 x Mobile engineers to join our teams supporting sites in Cambridgeshire.
About the Role
This is a mobile role within a single secure site, where engineers work in pairs across multiple buildings within a large complex. A van is essential for navigating between facilities, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
Important Requirements
- DV Clearance is mandatory
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Must NOT be colour blind – driving within the sites demands full colour vision for safety and compliance
- Proven experience in M&E engineering (electrical and mechanical systems)
- Strong fault‑finding and maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Liaise with site contacts and management to ensure smooth operations
- Escort sub‑contractors while on‑site
