Role Overview
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of Heat Interface Units across energy centres and plant rooms in residential and commercial buildings. The role combines technical problem solving with client-facing professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and fault-find HIUs
- Work within plant rooms and energy centres
- Diagnose system faults and carry out effective repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety, performance, and site standards
- Communicate clearly with residents, site teams, and clients
- Complete service records, job sheets, and reports accurately
- Support colleagues on complex or large-scale works when required
Requirements
- Proven experience working on HIUs
- Strong understanding of plant rooms and energy centre systems
- Confident working in high-rise residential and commercial environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Professional, client-facing approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a foot-mobile role using public transport
Salary & Package
- £35,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Optional overtime and call-out rota
