Real Estate Lawyer (Commercial Property)
5+ PQE
£60K – £70K
Berkshire
The Opportunity
An ambitious and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to strengthen its Real Estate team with the addition of an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based within one of the firm’s well-connected offices across the Thames Valley region, offering the chance to work in a dynamic environment without the pressures typically associated with larger city practices. The role offers exposure to a broad and engaging mix of commercial property work, including portfolio management, lease transactions (grants, renewals, and assignments), landlord and tenant issues, and the acquisition and disposal of a wide range of commercial assets. There will also be involvement in more complex and high-value transactions such as development projects, secured lending, conditional agreements, and property elements of corporate deals. The firm prides itself on the quality and variety of its work, providing a platform for lawyers to deepen their expertise while maintaining a genuine work-life balance. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and play a key role within a supportive team environment, collaborating with colleagues, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
The Candidate
- Qualified solicitor with circa 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property.
- Confident handling a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Commercially aware, proactive, and detail-driven.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role, with an interest in contributing to business development.
- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary aligned with experience.
- A genuine focus on work-life balance and flexible leave.
- Clear opportunities for career progression within a growing firm.
- A collaborative, friendly culture where individual contributions are recognised.
- Comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance, health cash plan, and access to wellbeing resources and virtual GP services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer seeking high-quality work, a supportive culture, and the chance to progress their career within a firm that is continuing to grow and evolve.
