About the role

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients.
  • Preparing trust accounts, trust self‑assessment tax returns, R185s, IHT returns, estate tax returns, and personal tax returns.
  • Providing ad‑hoc planning and advisory support to directors on diverse and challenging matters.

About you

  • Hold an accountancy or tax qualification such as CTA, ACA, or TEP.
  • Be at senior or manager level with a desire to advance to manager level and beyond.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, explaining complex tax matters in clear, jargon‑free language.
  • Be flexible, a team player, and capable of handling your own portfolio of complex clients while assisting others as required.

Location and Working Arrangements

The role will be based mainly at our Kent office in Goudhurst. We offer hybrid working with the expectation of three days a week in the office. Travel to our London office for client meetings is expected on an ad‑hoc basis.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and is competitive for a London‑quality role based outside London. A comprehensive benefits package is also available.
