Location

Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI); occasional clinical commitments at Galloway Community Hospital in Stranraer.

Salary

£111,430 – £148,064

24 hours per week (6 sessions per week)

Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Glasgow Dental Hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive diagnostic and advisory service for patients referred to the Orthodontic Department at DGRI.
• Manage interdisciplinary treatment of dentofacial/craniofacial conditions and hypodontia cases in collaboration with colleagues across specialties.
• Contribute to the effective functioning of the department and support the professional supervision and development of Training Grade staff.
• Assume the role of Clinical Lead for the Managed Clinical Network (MCN) in Orthodontics across Dumfries and Galloway.

Qualifications

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and included on the Specialist Register for Orthodontics (or eligible for inclusion within six months of interview).
