Freelance Site Manager – Internals (Residential Development)
Eddington, Cambridge (CB3)
£300 – £320 per day CIS
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the internal fit‑out package on a flagship residential development in Eddington, Cambridge.
This is an excellent long‑term opportunity with a well‑funded, privately owned developer known for delivering high‑quality residential schemes.
The Project
A 170‑unit residential development comprising a mix of traditional houses and low‑rise apartment blocks. With the superstructures complete on phase one, the project is now moving through the internal fit‑out stage including M&E installations and finishing works.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing internal fit‑out works from 1st fix
- Managing subcontractors and programme
- Coordinating M&E, drylining, carpentry and finishing trades
- Ensuring health & safety, quality and delivery targets are met
- Strong internals background from first fix through to handover
- Experience managing multiple trades and maintaining programme targets
Requirements
- Residential internals experience
- Strong fit‑out background from first fix to handover
- SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid essential
