Ruby on Rails Engineers – Build the Future of Home Finance

Hawksworth UK are hiring X2 Ruby on Rails Engineers to join a forward-thinking, engineering-led financial services organisation transforming its core platforms.

The Role

• Engineers (x2) – £80k + 10–15% bonus + excellent package

Location: Hybrid, 1 day week on site per week, London

• Building and evolving a modern Ruby on Rails mortgage platform
• Designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems used at real‑world scale
• Working in product-aligned, empowered teams with true ownership
• Driving CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation across the stack
• (Lead) Setting technical direction and mentoring engineers

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience (MVC, APIs)
• Experience with agile, DevOps, and modern delivery models
• Passion for building high‑quality, secure, production‑ready systems
• Play a key role in transforming a business‑critical platform
• Work in an engineering‑first, cloud‑focused environment
