This is a high-impact, high-visibility role sitting at the intersection of Corporate Development, M&A, and Commercial Finance. The business are private equity backed and rapidly growing. Operating as the analytical engine of a rapidly scaling global entertainment brand, you will partner directly with the CEO to drive the company’s capital allocation and expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a key advisor to the CEO & Board, preparing investor-grade board packs, fundraising materials, and strategic long-term plans.
  • Commercial Performance Analysis: Bridge the gap between technical accounting and commercial operations by translating venue-level data into high-level strategic insights to optimise margins and ROI.
  • Corporate Development & M&A: Lead the financial due diligence and valuation modeling for new market entries, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Capital Planning & Investment Appraisal: Own the complex multi-year financial models for large-scale real estate investments and venue developments, from initial business case to board-level approval
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Spearhead high-priority projects across marketing, technology, and operations, ensuring all commercial decisions are backed by rigorous financial logic.

Experience & Background

We are looking for a high-calibre finance professional with a pedigree in complex deal-logic and long-term value creation. You will likely be looking for your first or second in-house move following a rigorous technical grounding in a top-tier advisory or investment environment.

Profile & Provenance

  • Technical Foundation: A background in Transaction Services (FDD), M&A Advisory, or Investment Banking is highly desirable.
  • Investment Mindset: Experience within Private Equity or Venture Capital (particularly in an operating or portfolio monitoring capacity) would be a significant advantage.
  • Investment-Grade Modelling: You must be an expert in building robust, flexible financial models from scratch, often with incomplete data, to drive capital allocation decisions.
  • Distilled Communication: The ability to take a 50-tab spreadsheet and turn it into a 3-page board narrative that a non-finance operator can act upon.
  • Ambiguity Management: Comfortable pivoting between granular due diligence and high-level strategy as the business footprint evolves.
