At Metalis, we are working with an established fabrication company based in Derby. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The role offers excellent opportunities for progression within a growing and supportive business.

Job Duties

• Carry out high-quality sheet metal fabrication and welding
• Perform TIG and MIG welding across a range of projects, including double welding vessel shells and purge welding pipework
• Working on structural framework and stainless steel
• Setting and operating press brake and pyramid rolls, along with all general fabrication equipment.
• You will be able to understand all aspects of engineering drawings
• Support on-site work when required
• Work to strict health & safety standards
• Keep your workspace clean, organised, and efficient

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Skilled in TIG and MIG welding
• Valid CSCS Card
• Ability and willingness to work on-site when required
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
