Stafforce are delighted to be working with a national environmental business in their location of Southampton, Hampshire. We are currently looking for a skilled mechanical fitter to undertake routine and reactive maintenance on the Southampton site. You will be joining the team as a focal point on site to keep the operation running as smooth as possible adhering to health and safety standards.
What the Mechanical Fitter will involve?
- Documentation or all machinery records on site and report writing
- Regular maintenance of heavy mobile plant
- Respond Rapidly to breakdowns including fault finding and diagnostics
What will you bring to the role of Mechanical Fitter?
- NVQ Level 3 qualified a mechanical field (QBE Considered)
- Able to strip down and rebuild mechanical components
- Experience with hydraulics
- Proven experience with diesel engines
- The ability to operate basic workshop machinery
- What you’ll receive in the role as Mechanical Fitter?
- A salary range circa 40,000 – 45,000 pa
