The role of the Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of components and fabrics for blinds and shutters
  • Direct sell into small business end users historically
  • All of your time will be spent selling direct to the trade via: shutter and blind manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors as well as merchants and blind retailers
  • Inheriting a well-established area only available due to an internal promotion
  • Currently turning over circa £3m
  • 95% account management role, circa 120-150 active spending customers on patch
  • Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin
  • Majority of your work will be in the West Midlands

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters with:

  • Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade
  • Ideally experience selling into small business end users
  • Preferably some experience selling into manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors or well as merchants/ blind retailers
  • Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters id not required
  • Our client is very open on field sales product backgrounds
  • Must be able to plan your own diary
  • Account management capability/ relationships building skills
  • Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
