About the role

Our client, a well-established ground investigation organization, is looking for a Geotechnical Site Engineer to join their diverse team in Manchester. The successful candidate will report to the Principal Engineer while mentoring junior staff. You will have the chance to develop factual and basic reporting skills through an industry-renowned internal and external development programme. Responsibilities include risk assessment, site safety, soil and core logging, site preparation and project management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant geologist/contaminated land experience
  • Site experience
  • Geology/Civil Engineering/another relevant degree (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Live within a commutable distance of Manchester
