Infrastructure Engineer Work From Home

Excellent opportunity for Network Engineer to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services. The role will require minimum 4 days working from office. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network functionality and reliability. Manage network security, including implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records. Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery operations, and ensure network redundancy and business continuity. Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions according to organizational needs. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving network-related issues promptly. Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and other IT staff to resolve technical problems and coordinate projects. Monitor and enforce compliance with organizational IT policies and industry regulations related to network security and privacy. Proven experience as a network administrator, network engineer, or similar IT role. Network Administration, Firewall , Wireless , Switching & Routing Cisco , AWS Networking , Cloud Networks – Cisco Meraki , Load balancing Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and network hardware. Experience with network security practices, including firewall management and VPN configuration. Familiarity with cloud networking, virtualization technologies, and remote access solutions is a plus. CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate) are highly desirable….
