We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable and forward‑thinking colleagues to play a key role in the successful implementation of our new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. Whether your expertise lies in:
- Maternity/NICU
- Order Comms (Pathology, Radiology, Endoscopy, Cardiology)
- Theatres & Anaesthetics
- Clinical Documentation
- Front Door/ED
- PAS Inpatient/PAS Outpatient
Main duties of the job
- Actively participate in workflow localisation sessions relevant to your area of expertise, acting as a champion for the programme and promoting engagement across your team or wider care setting.
- Commit to the full lifecycle of the project, offering specialist input into solution design and ensuring national standards and requirements are fully considered.
- Help to identify risks and issues within your domain alongside contributing to mitigation planning.
- Play a key role in aligning and engaging colleagues by supporting data collection, contributing to design decisions and liaising with clinical and operational teams to ensure the future system reflects safe and effective practice. Review future‑state workflows from a clinical safety perspective and recommend appropriate mitigations.
- Assist with testing cycles to validate the system’s functionality and readiness, and support training and go‑live activities as a Super User, providing hands‑on guidance and reassurance to end users.

Essential criteria – Experience
- Provide clinical/operational expertise into future design of EPR.
- Previous NHS or healthcare experience.
Essential criteria – Knowledge
- Significant knowledge in the area/subject applicant is applying.
Applicants must have appropriate UK professional registration and the right to work in the UK. Candidates requiring sponsorship should review the eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying.
This role requires access to vulnerable people and is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020. Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
