Role: Category Manager Salary: £42,839 – £46,142 per annum
In support of the ND2 project a talented category manager is sought to deliver a range of new assets. Reporting to the Procurement Lead, you’ll be responsible for procuring a portfolio of operational equipment to deliver an extensive asset refresh. You will be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision and oversight from senior colleagues. You will be keen to continue to hone your judgement and professional/technical skills, taking pride in your work. You will be encouraged and supported in your professional development.
Candidates will already possess a CIPS qualification whilst being accredited in transforming public procurement is desirable. Similarly, having previous experience of procurement for fire service or blue light applications is also desirable, but not essential.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of March 2028 and are to be based at Service Headquarters, Bridle Road, Bootle, L30 4YD. Further information about the role can be found in the associated job profiles and person specifications.
