Consultant Dermatologist – Private Patients – Luxury Clinic
Location: Oxford
Contract Type: Sessional / Part-time / Full-time (Flexible)
Up to £2,100 per day
We are working with a prestigious client — a CQC-registered provider delivering high-quality dermatology services across the UK. They work in partnership with NHS commissioners to provide patient-centred, efficient, and outcome-driven dermatology care in community settings. Their mission is to bring accessible, specialist skin care closer to home.
The Role
We are seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver specialist dermatology care in a flexible role that supports work‑life balance and clinical development.
As part of our clinical team, you will manage a diverse caseload of dermatological conditions, contribute to minor procedures, and help shape the delivery of modern, community-based dermatology services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dermatology outpatient clinics (new and follow-up patients)
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions in line with NICE and BAD guidelines
- Perform minor procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and curettage
- Provide advice & guidance support to GPs where required
- Participate in audits, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with consultants, GPwERs, and nurse specialists
- Support and supervise junior clinicians or trainees as appropriate
- Fulfil GMC appraisal and revalidation requirements
- Full GMC registration on the Specialist Register with a licence to practise
- Broad clinical experience in general dermatology, including inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer
- Skilled in minor surgical dermatology procedures
- Strong communication, consultation, and team-working skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
