Supporting the CFO, the Director of Finance is integral to the day-to-day running of the finance function, leading the finance team. This is a brilliant role with a forward thinking organisation.
Key tasks
- Provide strategic leadership to the finance team, coaching and developing colleagues while promoting a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and digital advancement.
- Drive the implementation of modern financial technologies to streamline processes, reduce manual workloads, and enable timely, data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee effective financial management, ensuring rigorous monitoring, control, and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate closely with senior executives and the wider leadership team to support the effective stewardship of the organisation's financial resources.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives, including recruitment and succession planning, to build a future-ready team with the skills and capabilities required for long-term success.
