VIGO is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the smart buildings and energy optimisation sector for a Mobile BMS Service Engineer to join their growing team.
Location: UK (London) | Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 | Employment: Permanent BMS
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in installing, configuring, and managing BMS components and equipment across customer sites. This role will help enable sites to become ‘Smart Enabled’, introducing additional value through IoT solutions and supporting improvements in operational efficiency, sustainability, and building performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring BMS equipment.
- Performing maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium, and Distech BMS systems.
- Participating in a reactive call‑out rota (additional financial benefit included for being on call and attending).
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and remedial works.
- Preparing proposals and quoting work requirements where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive knowledge and experience of BMS / HVAC.
- Familiar with Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens.
- Excellent understanding of the electrical industry.
- Understanding of IT networks.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
