A large financial services client is undergoing a significant technology and regulatory transformation and are in need of a Solutions Architect to play a key role in shaping how technology is designed, integrated, and delivered across the organisation.
This is a hands‑on architecture role within a complex FS environment — combining legacy platforms, modern cloud solutions, and integration layers.
You’ll work across business and technology and data teams to ensure solutions are:
- Architecturally sound
- Scalable and resilient
- Aligned to regulatory expectations
- Deliverable in practice, not just on paper
This role offers strong visibility and influence across a multi-stream transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end‑to‑end solution architectures across insurance systems and platforms
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable technical designs
- Define and guide integration approaches (APIs, middleware, event‑driven patterns)
- Ensure resilience, security, and third‑party considerations are embedded into designs
- Collaborate closely with delivery, data, and security teams
- Support implementation teams to ensure solutions are executed as intended
- Exceptional background in insurance or financial services
- Strong understanding of complex system landscapes and integrations
- Experience working across both legacy and modern platforms
- Ability to turn business requirements into clear technical designs
- Comfortable working in delivery‑focused environments
- Regulatory tech transformation background
- Strong reg Domain knowledge in DORA (advantageous)
