Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Bid Manager for an established Tier 1 contractor operating across the South Coast. The business is an established UK contractor with a strong reputation for honesty and quality of delivery, trusted by supply chain partners and suppliers as a preferred partner.

They work strictly on framework and negotiated schemes in the Education, Care, NHS, MOD, MOJ and local authority sectors, ranging from £20 million to £90 million and operate on a 2‑stage basis.

Responsibilities

Join an existing pre‑construction team to identify which bids to target. The selective business only works on bids that can benefit the organisation and deliver for the client. Work with the wider pre‑con team to devise, strategise and build the best possible bid at stage 1. Present the bid, and if successful, take it through the stage 2 process working with estimating and design teams, while serving as the client point of contact for all enquiries.

Qualifications

Experience managing large, complex bids and experience with 2‑stage schemes is an advantage. Ability to understand technical queries, be confident in writing and producing detailed bids and creating quality, detailed and referenced content including the initial PQQ for clients.

Eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
