We are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a Fleet Sales Manager, to join and lead our fleet sales team, from our Volkswagen Passenger Cars dealership in Poole.

As one of Volkswagen’s trusted 28 fleet business partners, you’ll manage a broad territory that covers both the Hampshire and Dorset area.

In this leadership role, you will drive the commercial success of the fleet division by managing a portfolio of new and established accounts. If you possess a proactive and forward‑thinking approach to prospecting, you will play a pivotal role influencing the growth, visibility and overall performance of our key brands: Volkswagen, Suzuki and Geely.

Package

  • Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 6pm
  • Salary: Basic £45,000 per annum + additional OTE £20,000 per annum (UNCAPPED!)
  • A proven track record of successfully leading a sales team within the automotive industry
  • You must possess a strong drive to succeed, with a can‑do attitude and ability to think outside the box
  • Strong communication, sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with new and existing customers at both entry level to Senior/ Managing Director status
  • Proactive approach to prospecting seeking new business
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • You must be computer literate and adaptable to learning our bespoke systems
  • The role will include travel; you must hold a full valid driving licence

Main Duties

  • To achieve and strive to exceed all fleet sales objectives, by managing a highly professional, motivated and efficient fleet sales team.
  • Control stock levels and availability according to Company policy.
  • Regularly monitor accounts, forecasts and other budget data to determine where improvements can be made and plan/implement appropriate courses of action.
  • Monitor and control outstanding debts, as appropriate.
  • To prepare and present tailored sales packages to new and existing fleet customers.
  • To work closely with our Head of Business to formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum profitability from vehicles, finance, insurance, and other sales services.
  • To work effectively within the Dealership team, ensuring industry‑leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
  • Approach and always receive business and personal customers promptly and courteously.
  • Be up to date with dealership makes, models, features, and pricing structures.
  • Managing and keeping our customer CRM/Diary up to date and responding to customers in good time.
