The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry‑leading client based in the Bicester area. We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their operation on the PM shift and transition from temp to perm.
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 3pm‑11:30pm – Friday and Saturday off every week
Location: Bicester OX26
Job type: Ongoing with an opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Sort and organise incoming parcels accurately and efficiently based on designated routes and destinations.
- Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other equipment to facilitate the sorting process.
- Ensure proper labelling and categorisation of parcels to prevent errors in delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
- Identify damaged parcels and follow company protocols for proper handling and documentation.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, optimising space utilisation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or parcel sorting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift packages of varying weights.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and labelling of parcels.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
