About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Events Fundraising Officer to deliver a dynamic programme of fundraising events across Scotland. This role is key to generating significant income, building strong supporter relationships, and enhancing the organisation’s public profile.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and evaluate a portfolio of fundraising events to meet income targets.
Develop and implement event plans, budgets, and timelines
Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers
Lead and support volunteers and event teams to deliver high-quality events
Manage event promotion, working closely with marketing teams on campaigns and social media
Oversee event administration, including CRM/database management, reporting, and donor stewardship
Identify new fundraising opportunities and contribute to innovation within the events programme
Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and best practice
About You
Experience in events, fundraising, or project management
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Creative, proactive, and results-driven
IT literate, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable
Experience in fundraising or charity sector
Knowledge of fundraising regulations and compliance
Experience working with volunteers and corporate partnerships
