Senior Functional Consultant EPM

This is an opportunity to join a leading Anaplan partner consultancy organisation who provide EPM software solutions and support with an established reputation. The company specialises in offering the most innovative and dynamic solutions combined with the latest analytics technologies.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Chief Services Officer and provide input at all stages of allocated projects from pre‑sales and commercial estimating through to project planning and ultimately successful delivery.
- Be “hands on” where necessary and develop junior team members through accurate and clear direction, mentoring and constructive review.
- Manage, mentor and develop junior colleagues, holding regular team meetings and one‑to‑one sessions (remotely and face‑to‑face), carrying out performance reviews and monitoring performance against agreed objectives, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Add value to the practice and our customers through extensive domain experience and be prepared to further skills and capabilities in new software, initially with Anaplan FCR and subsequently with technologies such as Anaplan Planning, SAP Analytics Cloud and others.
Qualifications
- Certified in Accounting.
- Prior experience working within a consulting environment, including planning and leading significant projects.
- Extensive consolidation, reporting and planning domain experience with enterprise customers.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in EPM solution delivery including experience with at least one major technology, e.g. SAP BPC, OneStream, Oracle‑Hyperion.
- Hands‑on experience at all stages of EPM projects: requirements, design, delivery and support.
- Excellent and advanced MS‑Excel skills.
- Proven capability to gather customer requirements and develop and validate solution designs.
- Track record of successful, on‑time, on‑budget delivery of large and complex customer projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired but not essential skills
- Exposure to dashboarding and BI presentation tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.; Project Management; Finance, Accounting or planning background.
Package
£80 – 95k Basic (plus a flexible benefits package) depending on experience.
Location
- Working from home with potential travel to client sites – UK / Europe / Worldwide.
- May be expected to attend company meetings on a regular but flexible basis to help knowledge transfer and development of team capability.
