Role
Nilfisk, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of industrial cleaning equipment, is looking for a Field Service Engineer to work on customer sites across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Worcester and surrounding areas. Your role will involve completing all repairs within contracted service level agreements, performing PAT compliance tests, and carrying out scheduled planned maintenance. You’ll be equipped with a van, mobile phone, iPad, uniform and receive training. Workdays are weekdays only; a service centre in Wolverhampton will provide support and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Always follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules.
- Capture correct client data and update jobs in real‑time.
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit.
- Order parts via the central database and maintain van stock levels.
- Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to a high standard.
Qualifications / Person
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning equipment and ability to troubleshoot and repair various machines.
- Effective communication with clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Analytical problem solving and developing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Effective time management, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail, ensuring all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard.
- Adaptability to different work environments and equipment.
- Teamwork – collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
