Staff Nurse – In-Patient Unit (Palliative Care)
Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available.
Band / Salary: Band 5 – £28,921 – £35,206 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
Overview: St Luke’s Hospice is recruiting Staff Nurses to join our in-patient unit providing palliative and end-of-life care for patients with complex needs. The unit boasts an excellent nurse-to-patient ratio and a strong commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-standard nursing care in a palliative/end-of-life setting.
- Support patients and families with complex palliative care needs.
- Participate in internal rotations, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Nurse with a passion for evidence-based, quality care.
- Experience in a variety of clinical areas and a qualification in palliative care is desirable but not essential.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced clearance required.
