To assemble, service and sign-off assemblies required for the running of race, test, PR and customer cars and rigs.

Main Duties

  • Build, strip and service WF1 and customer suspension, brake, steering, Power Unit Integration & Drive-train components to a consistent high standard of competitiveness, safety and reliability, ensuring all assemblies conform to current Engineering and Manufacturing policies and procedures
  • Carrying out duties as instructed by the Component Assembly Team leader as per the daily work List
  • Critically evaluate all components during assembly and disassembly, ensuring their integrity and reporting all faults
  • Operate pass-off and test rigs as required
  • Highlight any assembly/quality issues to the Team leader or relevant design authority
  • Ensure all assemblies are built to deadlines
  • Ensure that all build and component information is recorded and maintained as required in relevant systems
  • Ensure the Component Assembly work environment and equipment is maintained to the highest standards of tidiness, presentation and safety

  • Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Level

  • Experience building complex components component assembly /sub assembly experience in F1, F2 or Sports Car Racing
  • Ideal candidate would be comfortable using Teamcenter PLM and CAD systems
  • Familiarity with Lifing systems
  • Experience with ERP & Manufacturing execution systems an advantage
