We’re looking for a senior leader to take ownership of Medical Equipment Engineering Services across Gloucestershire – leading a complex, multi‑site operation that underpins patient care across the Trust and supports a growing portfolio of external customers.
This role goes beyond operational delivery. It’s about setting standards, managing risk, influencing strategy, and ensuring the organisation and its partners can rely on medical equipment when it matters most.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Lead medical equipment engineering services across multiple hospital sites
- Provide expert oversight of governance, compliance and risk
- Advise and support senior leaders through assurance and strategic insight
- Drive equipment lifecycle planning, investment decisions and service improvementContribute to the development and delivery of services for external customers, supporting growth and long‑term sustainability
- Ensure strong alignment with national standards and regulatory requirements
What you bring
- Senior leadership experience in a technical, engineering or healthcare service
- A strong understanding of regulated, safety‑critical environments
- The confidence to influence at senior level and simplify complex issues
- A proactive, improvement‑focused approach to service leadership
