We are recruiting for the following permanent role in Bristol

Required: Mechanical Supervisors x3 & Electrical Supervisors x3

Work Location: Bristol (BS3 area)

Employment: Permanent/full-time

Duration: For the next 5 years you will be based on one of the largest new build construction projects in Bristol. The project may potentially grow to 7‑8 years of work.

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £55k – £65k per annum

Additional details: pension, 22+8 Holidays, travel allowance

Project: £200m major new build project – offices & education centre

Qualifications: Trade‑related CSCS Card (ECS, JIB or Engineering Skillcard) & ideally the 2‑day SSSTS

Your required experience: Previous experience as a Supervisor, managing H&S, workflow, labour and sub‑contractors.

Responsibilities to include

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site.
  • Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management.
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site.
  • Assist in resolving any technical or operational challenges.

The successful individual

  • Proven experience in a Mechanical Supervisor role within the M&E or construction sector.
  • Strong background working on new build projects.
  • Experience across commercial sectors (eg offices, education etc) is essential.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
