THE ROLE

Grand Visual, the creative powerhouse of the Talon group, is looking for a Creative Solutions Director to join our team on a 4‑month fixed term contract. In this role, you will drive our combined experiential, digital production, and creative solutions propositions in the UK, working across a diverse mix of clients and agencies, including some of the world's leading brands. We seek an experienced creative media or brand experience professional who is confident generating ideas and taking them through to the sell, with the passion and presence to bring clients on the journey.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Drive income for brand experience, digital production, and media solutions across our key accounts, with a particular focus on one agency patch.
  • Work alongside the wider team to deliver strong creative responses for clients, helping brands make the most of what OOH has to offer.
  • Build solid, trusted relationships with your clients and their cross‑agency teams and work collaboratively to drive growth across your account patch.
  • Maintain a consistent presence across key clients and agencies through regular outreach, presentations, and inspiration sessions where needed.
  • Liaise with relevant departments, including Marketing, Insight, and International to maximise project opportunities and improve the overall client experience.
  • Stay across emerging trends, products, and partners to bring fresh thinking and innovation to our work.
  • Ensure all booking procedures are followed and that sales collateral, presentations, and key information are kept up to date.
  • Champion sustainability and advocate for the value of positive social and environmental impact within your team.
  • Be a genuine role model for Talon's values and help set the right tone and culture across the business.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proactive and commercially minded, with a natural instinct for spotting and pursuing opportunities.
  • Results‑driven with strong project management instincts and organisational skills.
  • A confident negotiator and natural relationship builder.
  • Comfortable making decisions independently while knowing when to bring others in.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, without losing sight of the detail.
  • An inquisitive self‑starter with a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • A strategic thinker who’s also happy to roll their sleeves up.

AS WELL AS

  • Solid experiential and/or media sales experience, with a track record of working at national or director level with major brands and agencies. Confident to challenge the status quo when needed.
  • Proven ability to interrogate briefs, develop strategic recommendations, write creative briefs that push boundaries, and pull together compelling pitch proposals.
  • An existing network you’re able to build on, with the ability to open doors at the right level.
  • Strong knowledge of the media, marketing, events, and experiential landscape.
  • Experience leading your own projects, while knowing when to loop in resources or the team head for support.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to bring your knowledge of the client and wider campaign strategy to internal conversations.
  • Exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, pressurised environment and resilient enough to thrive in it.
  • A genuine understanding of how creative OOH and brand experience fits into and complements the wider media mix.
  • Proficient across Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
