We are working with a highly regarded, global organisation looking to appoint a Senior Tax Manager to provide proactive, commercially focused tax advisory support across international operations. This is a key role partnering with senior stakeholders, supporting strategic growth, and ensuring the business maintains a robust and optimised tax position.

This opportunity would suit an experienced tax professional with strong international exposure, looking to operate in a business-facing, advisory-led environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with finance, commercial, and legal teams to deliver practical tax advice across international operations
  • Advise on new country entry, corporate structuring, and permanent establishment risk
  • Review and challenge material transactions, ensuring risks and opportunities are clearly communicated
  • Support bids, contracts, and cross-border activities with commercially focused tax input
  • Lead on transfer pricing oversight, including policy implementation, documentation, and intercompany arrangements
  • Manage and develop the Transfer Pricing Accountant
  • Review contractual terms and support negotiation of tax clauses
  • Support tax planning initiatives, including cost recharges, APAs, and project-based planning
  • Liaise with external advisors across multiple jurisdictions to obtain specialist input
  • Monitor international tax legislation and assess business impact
  • Ensure transfer pricing policies are implemented effectively and reflected accurately in financials
  • Oversee preparation of transfer pricing documentation and disclosures
  • Manage external advisor relationships, performance, and budgets
  • Optimise use of in-house vs external resources to ensure cost-effective delivery
  • Design and implement robust, defensible tax structures
  • Manage tax audits, disputes, and controversy matters
  • Assess complex tax risks across transactions and projects, providing clear recommendations
