Data Manager – Chorlton High School

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. This is a permanent post, 35 hours per week all year round, with a starting salary of £33,143 (Grade 6). The role will commence as soon as pre‑employment checks are complete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and manage all school data and assessment processes.
  • Lead and manage the school's internal and external examination processes, ensuring compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations.
  • Maintain and develop the management information system Arbor and associated data systems, ensuring data accuracy, security and effective reporting.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and staff to analyse and interpret performance data supporting student progress, wellbeing and whole‑school improvement.
  • Develop effective systems for reporting, assessment, timetable management and examinations administration across the school.
  • Lead, support and develop staff within the data and examinations functions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Highly organised, analytical and proactive with excellent IT and communication skills.
  • Experience working with complex data systems and Management Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of school assessment processes and examination regulations.
  • Capacity to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
