The Role

Based in Nuneaton and reporting to the Head of PMO + Operations & Supply Chain Director, this role is responsible for leading high-impact supply chain projects, ensuring robust stakeholder management, clear reporting, and effective critical path delivery across multiple internal and external partners. This individual will lead a cross‑functional team to ensure program and project completion, adherence to timeline and scope requirements, and successfully execute programs while communicating regularly with internal senior leadership and stakeholders. This is a pivotal role that ensures speed and agility remain a core competency and that the team is focused, energized and on‑track to meet the long‑term objectives of our business.

Responsibilities

Programme/Project Management + Execution

  • Manage cross functional project teams in operations and manufacturing, integration programs, as well as one‑off special assignments across the Supply chain.
  • Lead collaboration, ensuring project teams work together to deliver cross‑functionally and work through challenges to present viable solutions.
  • Report status and provide visibility on progress, risks, and timings. Ensure all projects are delivered on‑time, on‑budget and on‑strategy.
  • Own the critical path, forward think, and problem solve the project plan to ensure teams meet milestone, critical business and customer dates.
  • Act as “the voice of reason” at executive‑level steering committees down to the detailed project teams.
  • Facilitate decision‑making, arbitrate impasses, remove barriers to drive project progress.
  • Be the central contact between key business functions, projects, and/or project workstreams. Identify interdependencies and actions needed to satisfy project delivery.
  • Proactively oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage programme and project resource/risk

Supply Chain

  • Partner closely with the Operations and Supply Chain Director to define and maintain a clear delivery roadmap, identifying interdependencies and proactively managing risks across projects
  • Own and programme manage the Operations and Supply Chain Continuous Improvement (CI) agenda, delivering budgeted savings and working closely with Supply Chain Finance to ensure benefits are fully realised
  • Facilitate strategic workshops with senior Operations leadership (OPSLT), including prioritisation sessions and quarterly capital planning in collaboration with Supply Chain Finance
  • Support the Operations Leadership Team with strategic planning, including forward‑looking initiatives (e.g. 2027 planning), targeted project delivery, reporting, and senior stakeholder management
  • Own the development of business cases to support strategic investments, co‑ordinating input from different functions within Ops & SC.
  • Partner with Ops & SC Director on development of a SC Masterplan for the Nuneaton site and PS supply chain.

Example Initiatives + Projects to LEAD and/or MANAGE might include: Cost Savings, Supply Assurance, Warehousing, Site Master Planning (SC), SC process implementation or improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience, in an equivalent role, preferably in FMCG, food, or drink. Direct Supply Chain experience is a must.
  • PMP or other certification a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An inspirational people person who knows how to get the best from teams
  • Proven experience leading and managing project teams in a highly collaborative and dynamic business environment against tight timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines
  • A good understanding of product development, supply chain and operational and processes within a company.
  • Outstanding technical skills: MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel or similar PM tools
