Research Nurse / Clinical Research Practitioner

Provide clinical trial support to the Research and Innovation team at Redwoods Centre, Shropshire, supporting physical and mental health research and work with the mobile research unit. The role involves regular travel to the Stafford site and across the region.

Main Duties
- Develop relationships with clinical teams to promote and deliver research.
- Recruit, educate and monitor trial participants and manage accurate data and samples.
- Travel across the Trust geography and operate the mobile research unit with a standard driving licence.
- Work autonomously with senior staff guidance.
- Recruit participants onto clinical trials via hospital and community settings.
- Deliver complex research projects on agreed timetables, collaborating with the R&I Governance team.
- Maintain effective communication between Trust clinical services, primary care and community organisations.
- Evaluate research protocols, patient information and GP letters to ensure clear communication to participants.
- Manage research‑related aspects of care for participants across multiple health specialties.
Qualifications
- Good Clinical Practice
Experience
- Research experience or significant relevant clinical experience.
- Experience of research delivery in NHS or commercial settings.
