About you

  • Experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or relevant commercial roles
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and cost planning principles
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or currently working towards one
  • Experience with estimating software is advantageous but not essential

What you'll do

  • Support preparation of accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across multiple projects
  • Conduct quantity take‑offs and measurements from drawings and specifications
  • Assist in developing cost breakdowns, pricing schedules, and budget estimates
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure full scope coverage
  • Support bid processes through organisation of tender documentation and analysis of subcontractor quotations
  • Contribute to improving estimating procedures and data management practicesAssist in preparing for client meetings and tender presentations, gaining exposure to stakeholder engagement
