Overview

Workshop Service Engineer to be based in our Liverpool workshop. Vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or similar.

Responsibilities

Working with a range of material handling equipment – from small pallet trucks to industrial trucks (IC, VNA, automated) – you will find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, or Hydraulics.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification – preferred but not essential.
  • IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Personal Attributes

  • Good communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A positive and can‑do attitude.
