Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all Front Office Standards Operating policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Responsible for the completed nightly end of day reporting; ensuring accuracy in balancing of accounts
  • Seeks feedback on guest satisfaction and resolves problems in accordance with our promise and philosophy of colleague empowerment
  • Strong and effective communication with all other departments
  • Provides guidance and motivation to the night team; establishes and communicates on a daily basis with the Front Office leaders; a strong commitment to colleague satisfaction
  • Responsible to balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
  • Ensures consistency in exceeding guest service expectations (Fairmont Hotels & Resorts programs used as a measurement tool)
  • Provides passionate direction towards achieving our vision
  • Conducts night colleague performance evaluations on a timely basis, including corrective action and coaching
  • Develops, implements and/or maintains new incentives to motivate colleagues and maximise hotel revenue
  • Effectively maximises inventory levels during high occupancy/sold‑out nights
  • Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe work environment and knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures

We believe in flexibility and multi‑skilling; you may be asked to perform different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Front Office management experience in a luxury or high‑volume environment
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate a professional team while balancing financial, operational and HR priorities
  • Proficiency in Front Office systems (Opera/Fidelio) and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised and results‑oriented with a proven ability to work flexibly under pressure
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
