Role Overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly practice team at Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre. The team consists of 4 GPs, 2 ACPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate, and 2 Health Care Assistants supported by a network of Physios, Pharmacists, Care Coordinator, and Social Prescriber.

We serve approximately 5,467 patients in Creswell, Langwith, and surrounding areas. The practice is rated good by the CQC and performs well against QOF and the GP Patient Survey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a portfolio of general medical services, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
  • Opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
  • Support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, accepting an equal share of the practice workload.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to working patterns to support the service during times of absence if required.
  • Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines.
  • Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times.
  • Encourage collaborative working, liaise with all staff regularly, promoting and maintaining positive working relationships with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead on key areas within the practice, such as specific QOF domains, quality standards, and practice initiatives, as agreed with the Clinical Lead and/or Practice Manager.
  • On a rotational basis, support the extended access service, which takes place on a Tuesday, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Qualifications

International graduates must be on the GP Specialist List as well as on the GMC Register.
