The postholder will play a key role in delivering high-quality ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessments, including dual ASD/ADHD assessments, working as part of a multidisciplinary team within a community CAMHS setting. This is a clinically focused role requiring strong assessment, formulation, and report‑writing skills.
- Complete ADOS assessments as part of multi-disciplinary ASD diagnostic pathways.
- Undertake dual ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessments in line with national and local guidance.
- Gather, analyse and integrate complex assessment information to produce high-quality diagnostic and post‑diagnostic reports.
- Contribute to the triage and management of referrals into the Neurodevelopmental Service.
- Work collaboratively with medical, psychology and wider MDT colleagues during assessment and formulation.
- Provide clinical supervision to an Assistant Psychologist undertaking developmental history assessments and drafting reports.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive and timely clinical records in accordance with Trust policy, professional standards and clinical governance requirements.
- Attend and actively contribute to MDT meetings.
- Contribute to service delivery, pathway development and continuous service improvement within the Neurodevelopmental Service.
Working pattern: Community-based service.
Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
