We are currently working with a leading re-insurance broker to recruit a Business Analyst/Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle. This includes requirement gathering, process design, vendor selection through RFP, and project execution.

  • Conduct workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements for the underwriting platform, ensuring they are comprehensive and aligned with the business strategy.
  • Create detailed requirement specifications, including user stories and use cases, to guide vendor selection and system design.
  • Design and document process flows, integrating best practices and ensuring efficiency across underwriting operations.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Manage stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.
  • Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues, maintaining transparency with senior management.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure project documentation is maintained.
  • Draft the RFP document, outlining requirements, evaluation criteria, and vendor expectations for underwriting platforms.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
  • Manage the RFP process, including vendor communication, bid evaluation, and selection recommendations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership for final approval.

What you will bring

  • Strong Business Analysis and Project Management skills and experience gained in the London Market
  • Strong knowledge and experience with underwriting processes and MGA/UW platforms
  • Experience in conducting RFPs and vendor selection processes.
  • Proficient in process design and optimisation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
