Role Summary

The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of professional experience to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT initiatives. The role involves managing projects delivered through a hybrid model combining Agile and Waterfall methodologies and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT projects from initiation through closure
  • Manage project delivery using a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
  • Lead and motivate cross‑functional delivery teams, including onshore and offshore resources
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery standards, and best practices
  • Effectively manage and communicate with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
  • Influence senior leadership to secure funding and approval for proposed initiatives
  • Monitor project performance and take corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and executive‑level communications

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Proven experience delivering complex IT projects end to end
  • Strong expertise in IT project delivery methodologies, processes, and governance
  • Experience leading delivery teams and managing team performance
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding
  • Experience managing projects with a blend of onshore and offshore resources
  • Prior experience working within a retail organization preferred
  • Expert knowledge of business processes within relevant functional areas
