Full Stack Developer | Hybrid (Durham area) | £50,000

We’re working with a fast-growing UK tech business going through a strong growth phase and evolving their core platforms beyond MVP into a more scalable, cloud-led product ecosystem.

This is a hands‑on engineering role where you’ll be joining a small but experienced team building and evolving internal products that sit at the heart of the business. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys variety, cares about clean engineering practices, and wants to see their work deployed into real production systems.

What you’ll be doing

  • Full stack development across web applications and backend services
  • Building and maintaining secure, scalable software in a cloud environment
  • Working across UI and API layers to deliver production‑ready features end to end
  • Supporting defect resolution through structured root cause analysis
  • Contributing to Agile delivery cycles including Scrum and Kanban ways of working
  • Working closely with engineering leads and cross‑functional teams to continuously improve the platform

What you’ll bring

  • Commercial experience in full stack development using C# and .NET
  • Strong understanding of Azure and cloud‑based development
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and database work using SQL
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of containerisation, ideally Kubernetes
  • A structured approach to debugging and problem solving

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Blazor or .NET Framework
  • Experience with Entity Framework
  • Understanding of observability concepts and tooling
  • Awareness of accessibility principles in UI design
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools used in a practical, quality‑controlled way
  • Scripting experience such as PowerShell or familiarity with Linux environments
