Contract: Permanent full time (40 Hours per Week)
Shifts: Monday – Saturday 8am – 8pm on a rota basis (1 Saturday in 4).

KIMS Hospital are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Outpatient Sister / Charge Nurse to support and lead our outpatient teams in delivering safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led patient care.
You will play a key leadership role in delivering the clinical strategy, supporting the day-to-day operational management of outpatient services, and ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Working closely with the Centre Manager, Chief Nurse, and Consultants, you will contribute to strategic development while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and governance.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day operational management of the outpatient department, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the outpatient nursing team through strong leadership, and training.
- Champion and enhance patient experience, ensuring consistently high standards of care, communication, and engagement.
- Drive clinical governance, compliance, and quality improvement, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections (including CQC).
- Contribute to service development, innovation, and strategic planning, supporting continuous improvement and efficiency.
Person Specification
- Be a Registered Adult Nurse
- Have significant post-registration clinical experience in an outpatient clinic or hospital environment.
- Have experience working at a senior level within an outpatient setting.
- Have strong knowledge of clinical governance and proven leadership ability
- Hold a Paediatric Nursing Qualification
- Hold a mentorship qualification.
- Have experience in change management and service improvement initiatives
