This is a 12‑month secondment opportunity.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Personal Mortgage Consultant, you will support the Team by deputising for the Team Manager during any absence, as well as act as the main referral point for other members of the team by being a subject matter expert in all processes within the team’s responsibilities.

You will carry out processes of a similar nature to those of individuals in your team and will be required to contribute to projects across the business area to improve efficiencies and processes whilst providing coaching and support to colleagues.

About you

The minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Knowledge of all processes administered within The Mortgage Works New Business
  • The ability to identify issues and conduct root cause analysis, providing coaching and feedback where required
  • The ability to self‑motivate and thrive under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and service standards
  • A good understanding of our policies and processes, while demonstrating subject matter expertise relating to the work of members of the team
  • Confidence in building relationships with internal and external customers and providing appropriate updates on progress through excellent communication skills to deliver great levels of service (both verbally and in writing)
  • A history of prioritising workloads against SLA's
  • Good time management
