Five Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Melksham that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their SEND resource base. This specialist provision supports pupils with complex needs in small, supportive classes, allowing staff to provide personalised learning and care. This role would suit someone who is proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs. The Role Supporting pupils with complex learning and communication needs Working within small class groups in the school’s resource base Assisting the teacher with adapted lessons and learning activities Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs Helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment The Ideal Candidate Experience working with children with SEND (in schools or similar settings) A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning A team player who works well with teachers and other support staff Patient, resilient, and committed to helping pupils thrive Passion for making a real difference to children with additional needs*If you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70.
