An asset manager provider is seeking a PR Manager to design and implement the UK European PR strategy to enhance the reputation, visibility, and media presence.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with business objectives and brand values
- Identifying opportunities to promote expertise and competitive advantage through opinion pieces, commentary, and speaking engagements
- Managing all media relations, including proactive outreach and reactive responses
- Monitor media coverage, analyse PR campaign performance, and provide regular reports to senior management
- Serving as the main point of contact for media enquiries
- Collaborate closely with marketing and ensure consistency in messaging
Your Profile
- Proven track record in a senior PR or communications role, ideally within the financial services or asset management
- B2C private banking / wealth management experience would be also be considered
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
- Strong network of media contacts within the UK financial and business press.
- Experience managing crisis communications and sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver long term value.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications or memberships are an advantage.
