Responsibilities
- Provide effective contribution at Trust Board level, offering independent scrutiny, professional insight and constructive challenge to support robust, evidence‑based decision‑making and ensure high standards of governance.
- Support the development, oversight and delivery of the Trust’s strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with NHS priorities, improved patient outcomes, service quality, safety and long‑term sustainability.
- Participate actively in Board committees and decision‑making forums, ensuring appropriate systems of assurance, risk management and internal control are in place and operating effectively.
