The Legal Counsel will be:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including supplier, distribution and service agreements
- Providing pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to key stakeholders across the organisation
- Supporting on ad hoc commercial matters and risk management issues
- Assisting with compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to the retail sector
- Collaborating closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives
Profile
The Legal Counsel should be:
- A Legal Counsel or Advisor with experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing range of commercial contracts.
- Confident advising stakeholders in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
- Able to balance legal risk with practical business solutions
- Ideally experienced in retail, FMCG or consumer-facing sectors (desirable, not essential)
Job Offer
Salary depending on experience, starting at £60,000 plus benefits and hybrid working from office in Cheshire area.
