Accounts and Audit Accountant

Accountant (6‑Month Contract with Option to Go Permanent) A key client of ours is seeking an experienced Accountant to support its finance function during a key period. As an Accountant, you will take ownership of the organisation’s year‑end statutory reporting while providing essential support to the month‑end close process. This is a true all‑round accounting role, combining elements of both financial and management accounting. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple business units, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and insightful. You will also lead and mentor a small team of two transactional finance staff, supporting their development and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. Delivering year-end statutory accounts Experience leading, supervising or mentoring finance staff You will be a qualified or qualified‑by‑experience accountant with strong technical expertise and the confidence to operate autonomously.
